Bond uses Privy for authentication, giving you the flexibility to sign in with your preferred method. Whether you are new to crypto or an experienced user with your own wallet, Bond adapts to your preference.

Sign-In Options

Social Login

Sign in with your email, Google, Apple, or other social accounts. Bond automatically creates a secure embedded wallet for you — no extensions, no seed phrases, no prior crypto knowledge required.

External Wallet (EOA)

Connect an existing wallet such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, WalletConnect, Brave Wallet, Trust Wallet, Phantom, or OKX Wallet. You retain full custody of your private keys.

How It Works

Click Sign In

Select the Sign In button in the top-right corner of the Bond app. You will be presented with the available authentication methods.

Choose Your Method

Select social login for a streamlined experience, or connect an external wallet if you prefer self-custody. Both options give you full access to every Bond product.

Set Up Your Signing Wallet

After signing in, choose which wallet signs your transactions. If you used social login, your embedded wallet is ready immediately. If you connected an external wallet, you can switch between embedded and external signing at any time.

You can switch between wallet modes at any time from the wallet menu in the header.

Embedded Wallet

Created and managed through your social login. No browser extension needed. Transactions are signed seamlessly within the app. Ideal for users who prioritise convenience and are new to DeFi.

External Wallet (EOA)

Your own wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.) connected via browser extension or WalletConnect. You approve each transaction in your wallet. Ideal for experienced users who want full control over their private keys.
